Start from a real read on executive function
The student answers the Executive Function Assessment in their own words when that fits (most completed assessments are). Results come back as specific strengths and needs, like task initiation at 36%, not just a number. It is 77 questions and usually takes about 15 to 30 minutes, or 30 questions and about 5 to 15 minutes on the shorter Foundational version. Progress saves, so it can be done in more than one sitting.

Goals are written from that one profile, drafted to a SMART, IEP-ready structure you can refine: what the student will do, how well, and by when.

The How This Goal Was Created panel shows which parts of the profile, strengths, challenges, context, and executive function results, informed the goal, so you can check the reasoning before it goes into a document.
An AI model writes the first draft of the goals and strategies. You edit, refine, or dismiss anything it produces before you use it, and we show how each draft was shaped.
Each skill area is rated across its own questions on a 0 to 4 scale, so the percentage is that person’s total out of the highest score that skill area could reach. It is a shared starting point for a conversation, not a normed or diagnostic instrument, so it is not a comparison against other people.

FERPA-aware, and de-identified by design

Each student's profile is its own record. Made for de-identified use, so we recommend initials or nicknames. You decide what identifying information, if any, goes in, and you can edit or delete it anytime.
Encrypted, and kept separate
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and passwords are stored hashed. Only your logged-in accounts can see your profiles unless you choose to share them, and one organization's data is kept separate from another's.
Your data doesn't train AI
Advocate360 uses Anthropic's Claude models through Anthropic's business API. Data sent there isn't used to train the models, and Anthropic deletes it within 30 days in the ordinary course. Our privacy policy sets out the limited exceptions.
FERPA, and your DPA
Under a Data Processing Agreement, we act as a “school official” with a legitimate educational interest, performing a service under your control. We're glad to sign your district's DPA or a standard SDPC / NDPA form. A starter DPA and our Security & Privacy Overview are available on request.
Hosted in the United States
Your data is hosted in the United States. Our main vendors (subprocessors) are DigitalOcean (hosting), Anthropic (AI), Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), Klaviyo (marketing email), Google (optional sign-in), Microsoft (analytics on our public pages and inside the app; inside the app every word and image is masked, and no cookies are set from there), and Senja (customer reviews). Not sold, not advertised
We don't sell or rent student, profile, or user data, and we don't use it for advertising.

Educator questions
Is Advocate360 only for IEPs?
No. It works across IEPs, 504 plans, coaching, and personal use.
Does Advocate360 replace my district's IEP system?
No. It complements your existing tools, it isn't a replacement for your district's full IEP platform.
Are goals written to a clear structure?
Yes. Goals are drafted to a SMART structure, and you can refine any draft until it reads the way you want.
Do I have to enter student names?
No. We encourage de-identified profiles using initials or nicknames.
What does a percentage like 36% mean?
It is that person’s own answers, scored. Every question in a skill area is rated 0 to 4, and the percentage is their total out of the highest score that skill area could reach, which is 7 questions and 28 points on the Comprehensive assessment. The report groups each result into one of three bands: Needs Support at 0 to 49%, Supported at 50 to 69%, and Independent at 70 to 100%. It is not a normed or diagnostic instrument, so the number is not a comparison against other people and it is not a diagnosis.
How long does the assessment take?
There are two lengths. Comprehensive covers all 11 skill areas in 77 questions and usually takes about 15 to 30 minutes. Foundational covers 5 core skills in 30 questions and usually takes about 5 to 15 minutes. Comments can be left on any question and on each skill area, so someone who wants to add context will take longer. Progress saves, so it can be done in more than one sitting.
How accurate are the AI-drafted goals and strategies?
AI drafts are a starting point. You can edit, dismiss, or refine anything it produces, so accuracy stays in your hands.
Does data entered into Advocate360 train AI models?
No. Advocate360 uses Anthropic's Claude models through Anthropic's business API. Data sent to that API is not used to train the models, and Anthropic deletes it within 30 days in the ordinary course. Our privacy policy sets out the limited exceptions.
