FERPA, and your DPA
Under a Data Processing Agreement, we act as a “school official” with a legitimate educational interest, performing a service under your control. We're glad to sign your district's DPA or a standard SDPC / NDPA form. A starter DPA and our Security & Privacy Overview are available on request.
Encrypted, and kept separate
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and passwords are stored hashed. Only your logged-in accounts can see your profiles unless you choose to share them, and one organization's data is kept separate from another's.

How many people can I add?
As many as you like. Seats are unlimited, so you only pay the base plan plus any extra profile packs.

Is there a free trial for teams?
Yes. Signup takes no card, and when the first screen asks who the account is for, choosing a team starts a 14-day team trial with 20 profiles shared across your team. Jordan's demo profile is there from day one, so you can see a full profile, an assessment and a finished plan. When the trial ends there is no charge: your team goes read-only until you add a card.
Can I pay annually?
Yes. It is $960/yr ($80/mo, a 20% saving), or $100/mo. Profile packs you add at checkout are billed on the same schedule as your plan; packs added later are billed monthly.
What happens to my existing profiles?
They move into your team’s shared pool, so your profiles come with you when you upgrade.
What if I cancel?
Your team moves to read-only mode and your data is preserved. Resubscribe any time to restore full access.
Is our data secure?

Are you HIPAA compliant or SOC 2 certified?
No. Advocate360 is an executive function support tool, not a medical or HIPAA system and not a system of record. It is designed for de-identified use, so keep protected health information and full identifiers out.
Does the AI train on our data?
No. Advocate360 uses Anthropic's Claude models through Anthropic's business API. Data sent to that API is not used to train the models, and Anthropic deletes it within 30 days in the ordinary course. Our privacy policy sets out the limited exceptions. We keep counts of AI usage, not the text that was sent. That is different from a staff member typing information into the consumer ChatGPT or Claude.ai apps.
How long does the assessment take?
There are two lengths. Comprehensive covers all 11 skill areas in 77 questions and usually takes about 15 to 30 minutes. Foundational covers 5 core skills in 30 questions and usually takes about 5 to 15 minutes. Comments can be left on any question and on each skill area, so someone who wants to add context will take longer. Progress saves, so it can be done in more than one sitting.
How accurate are the AI-drafted goals and strategies?
AI drafts are a starting point. You can edit, dismiss, or refine anything it produces, so accuracy stays in your hands.
Do you sell our data?
No. We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
How is student data kept private?
Advocate360 is built for de-identified use: initials, nicknames, or role labels. You decide what identifying information, if any, goes in, and you can edit or delete it anytime. The software does not automatically detect or remove identifiers, so de-identification is something you control under your organization's policies.
