How do I run an assessment?

Open the profile, choose Start Assessment, and pick the type. The wizard then asks who is answering and which response format suits them.

  1. Open the profile you are assessing.
  2. Choose Start Assessment.
  3. Pick Comprehensive or Foundational.
  4. If you are supporting someone else, say whether you are answering about them or they are answering for themselves. This changes the wording of every question.
  5. Pick the response format: a 0 to 4 scale in words, or the same scale shown as faces.
  6. Work through the questions. Your answers save as you go, so you can stop and come back.

Choosing the response format

The faces version is the same scale with a visual instead of a word for each point. It tends to help when reading or verbal skills are still emerging, and it is worth offering to an adult who finds rating scales hard to read.

Results appear once the assessment is finished. A part-finished one sits on the profile until somebody picks it up again.
