What happens when someone leaves the team?
The profiles they were working on stay with the team and move to an admin. The person keeps their sign-in, on a fresh personal account that the team's work is not on.
What the team keeps
Every profile they created, with its assessments, goals and materials intact. Ownership passes to the team owner, or to another admin if the owner is the one leaving, so somebody can carry the work on the same day.
What they keep
Their sign-in and their password. They land on a new personal account with a free trial on it, and the team's profiles are not on it. Files they downloaded while on the team are on their computer and stay there.
Removing someone
- Open Team from the sidebar, as an admin.
- Choose the person in the members list.
- Choose Remove from Team. The confirmation names what happens to their profiles before you commit to it.
Leaving a team you are on
Ask an admin to remove you. Taking somebody out of a team is an admin job, because the work in a team is shared and the profiles you created stay with it, so there is no Leave button on your Account page to do it yourself. If you cannot reach an admin, or you are the only one, the contact box at the bottom of this page reaches us and we will sort it out with them.
A team always needs one admin, so the last one cannot be removed. Promote somebody else to admin first, then the removal goes through.
