Why didn't my download work?

Downloads come from a different web address than the app, and school and work networks often block it. Trying the same download on another network, such as your phone, is the quickest way to find out if that is what happened.

If nothing seems to happen

The file saves straight to your downloads folder rather than opening in a tab, so check there first. Your browser also keeps a list of recent downloads.

If the download is blocked

Files are served from advocate360.sfo3.digitaloceanspaces.com, which is a separate address from the app itself. A school or workplace filter can allow the app and still block that one, and the download then fails with no useful message.

  • Try the same download on another network, a phone on mobile data or a home connection.
  • If that works, ask your IT team to allow advocate360.sfo3.digitaloceanspaces.com.

If the file opens with an error

A PDF that reports itself as damaged is usually one that arrived incomplete, which is what a blocked or interrupted download looks like from the reader's side. Delete the file and download it again, ideally on another network.

On a network you cannot change, tell us below which worksheet you need and we will email the file to you.
