Can I run an assessment in Spanish?
There is no Spanish setting built in yet, but Chrome translates the whole page, assessment questions included, and we checked that translation before suggesting it.
Translate it in Chrome
- Open Advocate360 in Google Chrome.
- Choose the three dots in the top right corner, then Translate.
- In the small box that opens, choose its three dots and pick Spanish.
Chrome translates the page from there, the assessment items with it. Google explains the same steps if the menu has moved. The answers still land on the profile in the usual way, so nothing about the results changes. The report you download afterwards is written in English.
If a browser translation will not do
A bilingual colleague or aide can sit with the student and work through the items in Spanish, filling the assessment in as the supporter. The results stay on the student's profile either way.
