Do I need a card for the free trial?
No. Signing up takes no card details, so there is nothing on file to charge. The trial stops on its own and you are only charged if you choose a plan and enter a card yourself.
What the trial costs
Nothing. It runs for 14 days with 2 profiles to try it with, and the signup form asks for a name, an email address and a password. It never asks for a card. A team trial is the same: 14 days with 20 profiles shared across the team, and starting it asks for no card either.
What happens on the last day
The trial ends and your account switches to read-only. Nothing is charged, nothing renews, and nothing you made is deleted. On a team trial the whole team switches to read-only together, until a team administrator chooses the Team plan and adds a card. What happens when your trial ends has the full answer.
When a card is asked for
Only when you choose a plan yourself, from Account or the plans and prices on our homepage. Payments run through Stripe, so the card details go to them and are never stored here. Our privacy policy covers who handles your information.
If you have seen a charge you did not expect, send us the date and the amount below and we will trace it.
