What do the assessment results mean?
Each skill area gets a percentage and a label. 70% or above is Independent, 50 to 69% is Supported, and below 50% is Needs Support. The percentage is how often the answers said that skill already shows up.
Where the percentage comes from
Every question is answered on a five-point scale, from Never to Always. A skill area is scored against the highest it could have reached, so 100% would mean Always to every question in that area. A higher percentage means the skill shows up more of the time, in the view of whoever answered.
The three labels
- Independent, 70% and above.
- Supported, 50 to 69%.
- Needs Support, below 50%.
The rest of the page
Progress Snapshot appears once there is a second assessment to compare against. It shows how the average has changed, the most improved area, and Recommended Focus, which is simply the lowest-scoring area. Recommended Focus changes to All Areas / Well Developed when even the lowest is 90% or better.
