Who answers the assessment questions?
Whoever knows the answers best. When you start an assessment on someone else's profile, Advocate360 asks who is taking it and rewords every question to match. Anyone you send a link to is asked the same thing when they open it.
On the second step of starting an assessment, under "Who is taking the assessment?", there are two choices:
- I'm assessing someone else. Questions are written about the learner: "The learner sticks to a daily routine."
- I'm taking this myself. Questions are written as "I" statements: "I stick to a daily routine."
Only the wording changes. The items, the scoring and the report are the same either way, so pick whichever matches the person sitting with the questions.
Handing it to someone else
A parent, client or teacher can fill it in themselves without an account. From Assessments, pick the person and choose Send Assessment, then send them the link it makes. When they open it, they say whether they are answering about themselves, as a parent or caregiver, or as a teacher or another supporter, and the wording follows. An assessment you have already started can be handed over from the share icon on its card. How do I send an assessment to someone? has the steps.
There is no way to collect two sets of answers on one assessment. If you want a parent's view and a teacher's view of the same learner, run an assessment for each and compare the reports.
