Where is my password reset email?

Search your inbox for [email protected], including spam and any filtered tabs. If nothing is there, the address you typed probably does not have an account, and the reset page says nothing either way on purpose.

What to look for

  • From: [email protected]
  • Subject: [Advocate360] Password Reset Request
  • Check spam, junk, and the Promotions or Updates tabs. A school or work filter may hold it for a few minutes.

The link is good for 24 hours

After that it stops working and the page says the link is invalid or expired. Request a fresh one from the password reset page and use the newest email, because requesting again cancels the previous link.

If nothing arrives at all

The reset page gives the same answer whether or not an account exists at that address, so that nobody can use it to find out who has an account here. That is why a typo looks exactly like a working request.

  • Try the other address you might have signed up with, a work one or a personal one.
  • If you signed up with Google there is no password to reset, and the page will tell you so. Use the Google button on the login page.
